What is an electronic signature?

The electronic signature is your signature in digital form. You use the electronic signature when you sign documents, send transactions, and to open and sign received files.

Meaplus signatures use your personal encryption keys to package the signed document. If someone makes changes to a document or file after it has been signed, the signature is no longer valid.

The signature is an “advanced electronic signature” in accordance with Regulation No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market is available in all official languages of the EU.

For security reasons the passphrase for your electronic signature is never cached.
